Asadov’s Aerohotel stands tall among futuristic structures

Floating and under water structures have just raised the hope for the future. While the ‘Underwater City’ in Bulgaria opens up the doors for underwater construction, on the other hand, the Floating Aerohotel by Alexander Asadov is a marvelous architectural design that will be a landmark for the floating structures of the future. Featuring the 200 meters wide central body sitting on various beams, resembling a bicycle wheel with supporting arms, The Aerohotel will enclose cafes, restaurants and winter gardens, alongside the key hotel. Visitors will be able to trip the hotel by either by water, climbing one of the foundation arms, or by air using the airstrips on deck.

Taking the cue from the Nature, the Garden Table is an innovative product design that gathers the rainwater in its central base, which may further be used for watering the plants and lawn in the garden. It can save as much as 178 to 510 liters of water annually, depending on the average rainfall of the particular area. The table also includes a bird feeder that collects water from its roof and stores into an underneath container where birds enjoy their bath.

Disposable cardboard bed for the homeless

Homeless people are a serious problem for every government. Providing them with shelter is another problem. However, their welfare cannot be ignored either. So, won’t everyone be happy if there was a solution in sight without stretching the coffers too much? A young Russian designer, Nikolay Suslov, has now popped up with a cheap but innovative bed design that may prove handy for poor homeless people worldwide. Inspired by the chaise lounge and different kind of beach chairs, the cardboard bed is finished with five layers of corrugated carton, processed with waterproof substance, which makes it durable in all seasons. The height of the bed is about 20 centimeters that keep the users on a good height from the wet and cold surface of the earth.
